Community service agencies in northwest Missouri are helping our communities but are now asking for help from community leaders.
A survey is underway trying to determine how local towns are dealing with issues like employment, education, housing, nutrition, transportation, and other issues impacting daily life of northwest Missourians. Carla Summa is operations director out of the community services Maryville office. She calls those issues the "Seven Pillars of Poverty" and says survey responses are really investments on how to deal with the issues. The community services surveys will be collected at the end of April and focus groups will also be conducted.
