The Missouri Department of Conservation will host four CRP seminars in northwest Missouri to help private landowners who are seeking to enroll acres in the USDA's conservation reserve program.
Scott Roy, private land conservationist for Mercer, Grundy and Livingston counties, says the seminars are to provide landowners with an understanding of the requirements to enroll in the CRP program. One session will be help tomorrow at the Hal England Center in Princeton at 6:00 p.m. Two seminars will be held on Friday; One at the Keytseville Community Center at 2:00 p.m., and the other at the Litton Community Room near Chillicothe at 6:00 p.m. Another seminar will be held March 11th at the Ketcham Community Center in Trenton at 6:00 p.m. To make a reservation for the Princeton, Chillicothe and Trenton seminars, contact Scott Roy at 660-359-5685, extension 114, or to make a reservation for the Keytseville seminar, contact Brent Vandeloacht at 660-258-5732, extension 111.
