Buckles Internment

Flags are flying at half staff today across Missouri to honor Bethany's own Frank Buckles, who is being laid to rest today.

Buckles is America's last surviving world war one veteran, who misrepresented his age to serve his country in the great war. He passed away on February 27th at the age of 110. Governor Nixon has ordered flags in all 114 Missouri counties at half staff as Buckles is buried today with full military honors in Arlington National Cemetery.
