State auditor Ton Scweich says he's launching the investigation is standard procedure, as his office is responsible for auditing counties that don't elect a county auditor. The announcement comes asking for any public input to provide information during the auditing process. It's expected to take a few months before the results of the Nodaway County Audit are released.
