The Brookfield McDonald's closes tomorrow.
But in a few months the golden arches will return in a more substantial way. Owners Larry and Kathy McCurry are re-building the restaurant with real brick on a solid foundation. The tiny store opened in 1991 as a scaled-down prototype of McDonald's, but has since undergone several renovations including a second drive up window, new lobby, and an indoor play area. The new Brookfield McDonald's building is set to be open in mid-day and could provide around 20 new jobs.
