Brian Price manages Brookover Feed Yards in Kansas and says cattle about to go to market won't be as full as usual. Extreme winds are also a concern for some wheat farmers in the Sunflower State especially in the western half, where abnormally dry conditions are being compounded by increased wind gusts. Wheat prices rose mid-week on worries about damaged crops.
