Humane Society

The Humane Society urges pet owners to bring animals inside, and if pets are outdoor animals, to make sure they have adequate supplies. Jelyna Chris from the New Nodaway Humane Society in Maryville says it is also a good idea to have pets wear reflective collars. Chris adds if you see a pet in weather-related jeopardy, you should immediately call the Humane Society of Missouri Animal Abuse hotline.
