Ameren Rate Hearing

We have the new date for a public hearing on raising some regional electric bills by more than $9 a month.

State regulators had set the hearing for Ameren customers to be held in Moberly for last night but it was postponed because of the snow. The new hearing date is Monday, March 7th. It will be at the Moberly Area Community College Blue Room. Ameren is wanting to raise the monthly rate on the average residential customer's bill another $9.30. It says it needs to raise its operating revenues by about 263 million dollars.
