The Missouri Farm Bureau's director of state and local governmental affairs Leslie Holloway says targeting the Elk Reintroduction Plan is the first priority. The Missouri Farm Bureau also wants state lawmakers to draft a bill that would put the one-eighth cent sales tax going to the conservation department up to a state wide vote periodically instead of just keeping it on the books. The group also wants to limit agriculture-impacting nuisance lawsuits in the state.
