MARYVILLE, MO (2010-12-16) Our region dodged a bullet yesterday with forecasts of freezing drizzle.
But state transportation officials say they will still provide service when the big storms do come this winter despite changes in operations. The Missouri Department of Transportation's new 5 year plan calls for better management of resources which impacts snow removal. MoDot director Kevin Keith says the public, however, shouldn't notice any change. The Missouri Department of Transportation this winter is still putting first priority on clearing main interstates and highways first, then secondary lettered roads after.
