MARYVILLE, MO (2010-12-06) Seasonally mild weather is helping crews construct Maryville's new water tower.
The structure is going up on Maryville's South side, just off of "V" Highway and can be seen from the bypass. A Wisconsin company is erecting the tower, and will soon be building a second one near the university campus for the city. Maryville public works director CE Goodall says the two new towers will help ensure Maryville residents have proper pressure and water service. Constructing the two towers will cost about 2.6 million dollars. The south side tower is expected to be finished in the next 3 months.
