ALBANY, MO (2010-12-29) The University of Missouri is now distributing 2010 Corn Hybrid Performance tests.
These hybrid tests give grows accurate expectations of what their corn hybrid crops will yield. In the 2010 season the Albany test site ranged yields from a high of 164 bushels to a low of 81 bushels. The test site in Livingston ranged yields from a high of 180 bushels to a low of 53 bushels. Wayne Flanery explains how these tests will help growers. The test can be picked up for free at any University of Missouri extension office.
