St. Joseph Council Meeting

The hearing is required every 5 years to determine if the "TIF" project is making satisfactory progress. So far, very little has been done to the property once proposed as another shopping center. The St. Joseph council is also expected to place Alonzo Weston on the advisory commission for aging, Shawn Moser for the fire and emergency services advisory board, and Mary Long on the tree board. Members will also decide on a $6,200 in car camera system for the Police Department, an annexation request by 8 property owners at the intersection of Mansfield Road and Highway A, A $71,000 upgrade to the wastewater treatment plant and an agreement with KCP & L. The St. Joseph city council meeting starts at 7 tonight at city hall.
