"New Harmonies" is featuring folk and roots music of America and is currently on display at the museum in Maryville. This Friday night it will be supplemented with a live performance from "Riversong" the Northwest Missouri based singing group. The all, women's chorus specializes in four, part harmony barbershop style singing without instruments. Historical Society president Mike Steiner says after the concert, patrons can check out the Smithsonian Exhibit as well. The Riversong Barbershop performance will be this Friday night at 7 O'clock at the Nodaway Historical Society Museum located at the corner of 1st and Walnut in Maryville.
