Princeton Water

THat is why the city council has voted to pursue state funding to help pay for it. Revised regulations by the State Department of Natural Resources will require the Princeton Lagoon to add additional environmental safeguards. The council has voted to apply for a nearly $360,000 grant through the state's clean water revolving loan fund. The state held a public hearing in July explaining the funding. Princeton must apply by the deadline of next Monday. The city is working with Larkin group based in Kansas City on the engineering plans for those upgrades.
