Chillicothe Council Races

The candidates filing is now closed, and Mayor Chuck Haney will be running unopposed. But three people have thrown their hat in the ring for the councilman at large seat. They are democrat Darrell Rinehart Jr, the incumbent, democrat David Moore, and libertarian Jeff Foli. Two democrats will also be vying for the first ward councilman's seat Reed Dupy and incumbent Sid Cornell. Four Chillicothe citizens are running for second ward councilman, republicans Fritz Kline, Jerry Miller and Roy Drummond. They will face the loan democrat in that race, Wayne Cunningham. Two will challenge each other for the 4th ward councilman's seat in Chillicothe, incumbent republican Paul Howard and democrat Pam Jarding. The primary election will be on February 8th next year with the general election on April 5th.
