Visions of The Universe

"Visions of The Universe: Four Centuries of Discovery" is a six panel double sided exhibit that explains facts about the Hubbell telescope, talks about what takes place in outer space as well as celebrates the life and discoveries of Galileo. The exhibit travels throughout all 50 states and is sponsored by NASA, the Smithsonian, the Space Telescope Institute and the American Library Association. Maryville is only one of two cities in the state of Missouri to host the exhibit, the other being the Kansas City. Head librarian of the Maryville library, Stephanie Patterson, believes Visions of The Universe is something both children and adults can enjoy by learning about our universe. The exhibit runs from now through November 30th at the Maryville Public Library.
