77 year old Nina George has been an aid in the South Holt R-1 district for the past 44 years. She originally started there as a cook. She's been named the older worker of the year. Even though South Holt superintendent Bob Ottman says George shuns the spotlight and would rather contribute behind the scenes. The district also credits her dedication after overcoming breast cancer and a severe stroke in 2002. This is the 20th year the award has been given by the state of Missouri.
