The president of the federal reserve in Kansas City is presenting a forum on the Northwest Missouri State campus. Tom Hoenig will be the keynote at the forum talking about the tenth federal reserve district and how it impacts the nation's economic status as the key body with authority over national monetary policy in America. Northwest president John Jasinski says it's not the only affiliation the university in Maryville has with the federal reserve. The federal reserve forum in Maryville is invitation only but you will get to participate by hearing the keynote speech live. KXCV will be broadcasting it on 90.5 and 88.9 FM around noon today.
