This partnership allows families to keep their loved ones with a disability at home, while still providing them the support they need to thrive within their community. The program will give 470 Missourians up to $12,000 in services per year. County developmental disability service organizations, often refered to as senate bill 40 boards, will review the lists of those waiting for services. Teri O'neil, spokesperson for the Livingston County senate bill 40 board, says there will be positive reactions from familes to this progressive movement. The new program began enrolling individuals on October 1st.
