A master plan for the agriculture department at the university has been unveiled. One that calls for million of dollars of upgrades the next weveral years at the university's working farm. Rod Barr is an instructor with the program and says the centerpiece will be an agriculture resource center. He envisions the center to have lab space, classrooms, and expo centers for animals. Barr says it will both upgrade the university's agriculture department and meet the needs of the region. Barr says he expects funding to come from private sources, friends of agriculture, and industries. He says they are talking with Chillicothe's Litton agriculture center for ideas on funding such an expansion.
