Hot Cars

That's the message Mo-Dot and the Children's Trust Fund is trying to remind drivers when dealing with children. Mo-Dot spokeswoman Sally Oxenhandler says they're targeting parents with the message of keeping kids safe by telling them in their own vehicles using the electronic message boards along the highways. Officials are trying to teach drivers to routinely check the back seat when exiting to make sure children aren't hiding and to teach children cars aren't toys and to keep remote entry fobs away from them.
