Governor Jay Nixon announced at yesterday's summit of higher education leaders state colleges and universities should expect more budget cuts next year and student should expect higher tuition. He says the deal he brokered with schools the past two years is unlikely to happen a 3rd time. Nixon blames the state's continuing budget woes. The state budget director told education leaders that Missouri's slow revenue growth will result in a $450 million state budget shortfall.
