Broadband Grants

Sullivan County will receive 7-point-2 million dollars to construct a fiber-to-the-premises network to increase broadband availability for Green City and surrounding areas.

This will impact about 25-hundred residents in Sullivan County.

In Putnam County Grand River Mutual plans on using the 20-point-3 million dollars in federal grants and loans to service Powersville Missouri and on up into several communities in Iowa.

This will expand broadband to about 52-hundred people.

And in Clinton County Grand River Mutual will spend 11 million of the federal money to upgrade 32-hundred residents in and around Lathrop (lay-thrup).

In Missouri there are 32 counties where more than half of the households don't have access to high-speed broadband for computer services.
