Drivers License Points

The Driver Improvement Program is an eight hour, Missouri-certified class that may be taken in place of point assessments on a driver's license.
Non-commercial drivers in Atchison, Nodaway and Holt counties who receive a moving violation can plead guilty, pay the fine, and take the class to keep the points from being added to their license.
Executive Director of the St. Joseph Safety and Health Council, Jackie Spainhower, says the program is not a solution to all violations.
Spainhower says the first class will be held June 26th at eight a-m in the First Lady's Dining Room in the J.W. Jones Student Union on the campus of Northwest Missouri State University.
