Bearcat Heroes

Northwest students Aubrey Swanson and KAel Martin brainstormed an idea helping the American Red Cross. Presented to student senate in March, Swanson and Martin were approved as an official organization. The new group received $50 to help their start. The group donated the money to two communication professors at Northwest who are supporting an orphanage in Haiti. President Aubrey Swanson said the organization seeks to help the Red Cross, Disaster Relief, and make it easy for students to help out too. Bearcat Heroes of the American Red Cross will hold an organizational meeting at 6, April 12, onthe third floor of the JW student union in meeting room A. The organization is not for just students.
