SAVANNAH, MO. (2010-3-12) The City of Savannah has gotten a State grant to help extended main street in Savannah to the East.
The nearly $252,000 coming from Missouri's economic development division will help pay for the project, which will cost about $384,000. More than a hundred thousand of that will come from private contributions as well as in-kind services by Savannah crews. The main street extension was one of the items discussed at the recent Savannah city council meeting. Council also approved a salary increase for Kristin Rasnic, she's the new court clerk that recently passed her new-hire probation period. The salary for Savannah's court clerk matches the County's pay rate for that position.
