Psychology Contest

Six student groups won at the 30th Annual Great Plains Student Psychology Convention on March 26~27 at Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph. The facility sponsors Dr. Ryan Wessell and Dr. Rebecca Hendrix said the students spent months preparing projects. The 1st place winners were projects on "The Effects of Gender, Age, and Town Size on Helping Behavior" and "Racial Biases in Assuming Guilt with Case Scenarios". Some of the other topics were "Investigating the Impact of Freshman Year on Personality" and "The Pausing Principle and the Effects on Learning."
