News Brief

1/7/2010MARYVILLE, MO |  By: Wayman

Snowfall totals around the listening area range from 2 inches to close to 5 near the Iowa boarder.

Wind chills for the rest of today could fall 10 to 20 below zero... and overnight they'll plummet to "feels like" temperatures as low as 35 below zero!

Ryan Cutter is a meteorologist with the National Weather Service near Kansas City.

He says the winds will also keep driving today dangerous.

Forecasters say we could see some light snow falling until nightfall, but very little further accumulation is expected.

A wind chill warning remains in effect for our region through noon on Saturday.
