The two continue discussing costs associated with payment of the water supply. Items such as the cost of peserve contribution and an April 1st target date has been set to sign a new contract and implement the new rates. Rates are tentatively being set based on total water production during the 2009 fiscal year that was approaching 195 million gallons. The negotiations were mentioned at the recent Savannah City council meeting, where members also noted how the City's purchase of a new skid loader and extra plow truck has improved snow removal in Savannah. The council tabled annexing ironwood street for upgrade and continual maintenance until the next meeting.
