Mo Revenues

Both Democratic Governor Jay Nixon and G-O-P legislative leaders agree on the latest estimate... which predicts a revenue rise of nearly 4 percent after July first.

That's still about 780 million dollars less than revenues in 2008.

State Budget Director Linda Luebbering (loo-ber-ing) says cuts will still be necessary.

Officials also estimate the state will collect half a (b)illion dollars less in revenue during the current fiscal year- which ends in June- than it did last year.
