Several bills are filed for 2010 regarding the production of meth and how to stop it.
The bills would require any over-the-counter medicine containing pseudoephedrine to be prescription only which includes several cold and allergy medicines.
Nodaway County Sheriff Darren White says that may help law enforcement, but only for now.
Officials say pseudoephedrine is a key ingredient in meth production and Missouri again leads the nation this year in meth-lab incidents.
