The National Weather Service is now putting the Counties of Taylor, Ringold, and Decatur under an "Ice Storm Warning". This will last from 3 tomorrow morning through 3 in the afternoon. Meteorologists say most of the freezing rain will come in the morning hours, and in the afternoon temperatures will rise above freezing. However, Southwest Iowans in the warning area can expect from a quarter inch to a half inch of ice. Travel in the Bedford, Mount Ayr, and Leon areas is not recommended tomorrow morning. With up to a half inch of ice, broken tree limbs and downed power lines are not out of the question. For our Missouri Counties along the Iowa boarder, much less ice is expected but they could see freezing conditions tomorrow morning as well. Stay tuned to 90.5 FM for the latest cancellations and weather updates as we get them.
