This year, the foundation's annual appeal campaign project has decided to purchase a new Digital Mammography Machine. The new model creates digital storage for quick comparison, faster transmission of images and higher efficiency while also improving the quality of the images themselves. Patients will be ableto recieve a quicker review which can be a great advantage in issues such as breast cancer. Foundation and development coordinator Marilyn Alldredge says this new technology is meant to benefit the patients. The campaign is a way for the community to support and assist with early detection of desease and help acoud delays in treatment. The St. Francis hospital foundation's annual appeal campaign is accepting donations until February 28th.
