Nodaway County emergency management says based on the approaching blizzard-like conditions set for tomorrow, residents should get groceries, medications, and fuel today. The emergency manager advises residents to check with elderly friends and neighbors before going to the store to see if they will need anything as well. Authorities are also reminding us not to use outdoor heating devices indoors and to consider getting carbon monoxide monitors, which are available at most hardware and chain stores.
