Students from high schools in Marceline, Brookfield, Trenton, Chillicothe and Cameron will have a unique experience to learn about the "In's And Outs" of entrepreneurship from professionals in the field. The day's events will include a panel of professionals who will address 5 topics important to entrepreneurship. Panel participants will also take time to answer questions from students in attendance. The Summit will also include a creative marketing exercise. Businesses and organization will present real-world problems to small groups of students. The students are then given a couple of hours to come up with creative solutions to share with the business professionals, as well as their peers. Chillicothe's small business and technology development directore Steve Holt says in the long run, the community gains as much from this Summit as the teens who attend. The Youth Entrepreneurship Summit will kick off at 8:30 tomorrow morning at Chillicothe's Grand River Inn.
