Throughout the last year the Eagleview Welcome Center has worked with the Missouri Arts Council in St. Louis and other local and community groups who are familiar with public arts to help with the selection process. Community relations manager Elaine Justus explains a little about the how they were able to get the mural started. The Eagleville Welcome Center is pleased to have glass tile mosaic specialist, Sandra Bryant from Washington State be the guest of honor at the reception. The Eagleville Welcome Center is excited for the mural which consists of over six houndred-thousand tiny pieces of colored glass to create places, plants, and animals in the mural that represent Missouri. The reception begins at one on Wednesday at the Eagleville Welcome Center off of interstate 35. Public is free to attend and see the finished mural, meet the artist, and hear why and how the mural was put together.
