Savannah administrator Mike Fisher says the city's new snow truck is fully operational and two police vehicles have also arrived. Decals for the K-9 vehicle are on the way. Savannah is also expecting to take possession of an aerial fire truck from the city of St. Joseph. The city temporarily lost a police are, however, because of an accident with a deer, which caused about 25,000 dollars in damage. Savannah continues waiting on Mo-Dot approval before starting work on the main street and 6th improvements. Council members also approved the purchase of fire equipment, as well as hiring Olsson and associates for the engineering design on the replacement of the 16th street culvert.
