Lager on Budget

That's the analogy used at last night's legislative forum in Maryville. Savannah senator Brad Lager says if current budget projections hold, lawmakers will have to cut 6 hundred million dollars starting in January then the next January start cutting 1.2 billion dollars. Lager says despite programs that will have to be cut, keeping education funded will be a top priority. Also speaking at the forum were representatives Mike Thomson and Rob Schaff. You can hear their comments on the Missouri budget during newscasts tomorrow and Friday here on 90.5 and 88.9 FM.
