For corn and soybeans the season couldn't be better. With Missouri's unsure weather, the crops still managed to get a few good days to grow and have really surprised growers with their outcome. Regional agronomist, Wayne Flanary has more about the outstanding growth of the corn and soybeans. Don't forget to keep your eye out for a series of winter meetings as well. These meetings will instruct you on how to conduct your own on-farm tests with the use of yield monitors. In February the University of Missouri State extension staff will also have a winter crop conference where you will be provided with updates on the latest crop research.
