Cameron Holiday Lighting

The festivities for the annual Cameron chamber Holiday lighting ceremony will begin tonight starting at 6:30 at McCorkle Park and continue tomorrow with a Christmas parade at 2:00. Throughout this evening residents can enjoy performances by the Cameron high school choir, the mayor will speak, and there will be a drawing where a lucky child will win the chance to pull the switch and light up downtown Cameron. Executive director of the Cameron area chamber of commerce Artis Stoebener says this event is a great time for people to get together and remember those who mean the most to them. Stoebener encourgaes all who come out to bring canned goods for the food pantry and adds all events are free and open to the public.
