BROWNVILLE, NE (2009-10-09) Residents of Brownville will get a taste of the arts and the open air this weekend.
The Old Time Autumn Festival kicks off this Saturday with a wood carving class hosted by the Brownville Fine Arts Association. The class will run from 9am to 4pm and registration is $50. Regional craftsmen will exhibit on the streets Saturday and Sunday and quilters can take in the quilt show in the Village Hall both days. Those attending can also enjoy one hour fall color cruises by the spirit of Brownville on both days at 3pm and an open air trolley will take visitors on a tour around town.
