Nine-year old Sabrina Olson is a student at Horace Mann School and entered her Award-Winning Essay Entitled "An Unforgettable Vacation" in the Young Voices Foundation Short Story Contest. Among the hundreds of submissions nationwide, Olson's was chosen as the third-place winner among her category of 3rd through 6th grades. The Story is published on the Young Voices Foundation website and tells the exploits of her character's hang gliding expedition in Yellowstone National Park. Olson, who learned to read at age 4 and could sound out words from the page before that, will receive a $100 cash award for her winning story.
