NODAWAY COUNTY, MO (2009-09-02) A Nodaway County Judge will now hear the 25 Felony Cases filed against the former owner of the Gallatin Grain Company.
4th circuit presiding judge Roger Prokes from Nodaway County will oversee the proceedings against Daniel Froman. He faces multiple felony charges related to the collapse of The Grain Company, which allegedly owes hundreds of thousands of dollars to Northwest Missouri Grain Producers. Those debts are being sorted out by state officials as civil cases filed against Froman by grain holders work their way through the Courts. Froman also faces charges in a sexual assault investigation, in which authorities allege he assaulted a woman in January of this year, then went to her home to offer her a $1,000 to keep quite. Froman remains free on a $35,000 bond related to those latest charges.
