Albany Aldermen

Bob and Denise Youngclaus have donated the Former King pharmacy building to the Carnegie Library in Albany. Library Director Cheryl Lang says she hopes to use the facility as an annext for library programs and activities it's putting on for the community. That announcement was made at the most recent board of Aldermen Meeting, where board members also passed an ordinance regulating the use of golf carts on the city streets, picked Great Western Bank and BTC Bank as the instiutions holding Albany City funds, and set the city wide garage sale for September 12th. Albany's City Wide Cleanup will be on the 15th and 16th.
