Murder Charges

Buchanan County Prosecuting Attorney Dwight Scroggins announced this morning he filed murder charges 36 year old Michael Wayne Limley, and 35 year old Christopher William Lee Helton. The St. Joseph News-Press reports that the men are charged with second degree murder committed during the commission of the felony of attempted first degree robbery. The charge carries a maximum sentence of 10-30 years or life in prison. The two defendants remain in jail after bond was denied. They are scheduled to be arraigned by video on Tuesday.
