Energizer Bunny

The Energizer Bunny turns 20 years old this year, and the Maryville Energizer plant has made special arrangements to bring him to the community.

The plant- which employs 440 full time workers- is the only one in the entire corporation to make alkaline "c" batteries, along with 3 other battery lines.

Maryville Plant Manager Candice Plaggens (plog-ins) says officials there think it's an important milestone for the Maryville community.

Children, fans, and the public can meet the Energizer Bunny at the Maryville Hy-vee tomorrow morning from 9 to 11… and then at Sutherland's from 1-3.

After that he's expected to just keep going and going….
