Trafficking Plea

42 year old Randal Jennings entered the guilty plea in U.S. District court after allegations he had participated in trafficking children from October 2007 until January 2009.

Jennings admitted he attempted to recruit five children to work for him as prostitutes. He recruited the girls to motel rooms, took explicit photographs of them, and used the photos to advertise the children for sexual services on the internet.

Jennings was arrested on January 29th during a prostitution sting at a Johnson County, Kansas motel. An undercover law enforcement officer had arranged to meet two girls there after responding to an internet advertisement.

Jennings faces a mandatory minimum sentence of ten years in prison without parole - he could face a maximum sentence of life in prison without parole, along with a $250,000 fine and an order of restitution. A sentencing hearing will be scheduled after the investigation is completed.
