Taylor Co Fair

The main events begin with the free bar-b-que tonight at 5:30, followed by the queen contest at 7 and a show by Kansas City-based country music group "The Outlaw Junkies" at 8.

A full slate of activities are planned for Friday, including a tractor pull and local pick-up pull beginning at 6:30 in the evening.

Saturday also brings a day full of activities at the fair, including an antique tractor show at 10 in the morning and mud drags at one. The evening concludes with the extreme bull riding tour, which is always a fair favorite.

Taylor county fair organizers are bringing a new event to the fairgrounds on Sunday - a ranch rodeo. Fair Board President Jim Rowe says they're very excited to see how the new attraction is received.

Sunday's activities also include a pancake breakfast at 7:30 that morning, cowboy church at 9, and the demolition derby at 6:30 in the evening. For more information and a complete schedule, log on to taylor-county-fair-dot-net.
