At the last City Council meeting Councilman Gabler reported June was one of the largest income months for the golf course.
Some members had complained there wasn't enough time for play on Savannah's course, but an increase in outings have helped the course move to a positive cash flow.
The City's Golf Committee is looking into creating reserve funds.
The Golf Pro is considering remodeling the pro shop.
Savannah is also re-applying to the state to become a "Dream" community.
That designation would allow it to get an 80 percent match fund and receive assistance from consultants on how to improve its downtown area.
